Cher turned up tonight to give songwriter Diane Warren her Governors Award aka Lifetime Achievement Oscar. Warren wrote one of Cher’s biggest hits, “If I Could Turn Back Time.”
Warren has been nominated a dozen times for Oscar and never one. She’s the first ever songwriter to get an honorary Oscar. The ceremony is going on now in L.A.
